Red Beam

At LED Torch Shop, we offer a large range of red beam flashlights. Red beams are ideal for preserving and improving night vision. This is because, red light doesn’t cause the pupil to shrink to the same degree as more blueish/white light. This makes it easier to continue to see in the dark once the light is turned off, i.e. preserving night vision. In terms of improving night vision, white lights at night often cause you to squint and strain your eyes in order to see clearly. However, red light is non-glaring, so it allows you to see more clearly and easily at night.
