The torch is well made and performs as required. The solid construction is forgiving when the torch is dropped. The USB-C charging is convenient as I have these types of charges available at home, work and in the car.
A function that would make it better, is if it had an adjustable beam.
When all is said and done, I’m very happy with it.

Purchased this as a gift for a young person who is enthusiastic about torches but also has the propensity to lose things – we all know someone like this. Amirite??
Build quality is excellent and it has a solid feel in the hand. Access to the battery & charge port is easy and the switch operation is better than I expected.
Beam dispersal is remarkably tight & consistent. In our testing, this torch illuminated objects over 250m downrange; better than the stated 230m (from memory) in the specs.
USB-C charging isn’t as convenient as magnetic attachment offered by other models but USB-C is quite ubiquitous and you could charge this light with your phone charger in a pinch.
A very good bit of kit, all told, especially considering the entry level price-point.
