Great little UV light new from JETBeam- the JET-UV is a superior 365nm torch designed for detecting flurescent agents, proteins, and helps with forgeries. Small, lightweight and easy to carry via supplied lanyard, or hook onto your keyring. Made from sturdy aircraft-grade aluminium alloy, military type III hard anodizing, and is waterproof rated to IPX-8.  Comes in blue only, and uses disposable and rechargeable AAA batteries (not supplied- but see deal below).

    Purchased this torch for a unique task - reading serial numbers on artworks, which were written in invisible ink. It worked perfectly, the ultra-violet picks up fluorescent colours even in normal lighting situations - and super effective in the dark. Also a handy size, can fit pretty much anywhere it is so small.
    Would definitely recommend to others requiring UV spot-checking. (Posted on 6/07/2018)
