We have selected a range of mountain bike lights/ MTB lights or trail bike lights that we believe are built to withstand the tough conditions that you put your bike though. There are a number of factors as to why in our opinion these bike lights are made for the trails and here are some of what we think is needed for a good MTB or Trail bike light.
Light Configuration: Unlike road riders who might only need a front or rear light to gather attention so they can be seen in a busy environment these mountain bike lights are more designed to see obstacles and down trail. With these requirements you want a light that can not only throw a fair distance so you are able to see down the trail and spot anything or anyone coming up. Also you want a light that offer a really good amount of spread/flood light, because we all know that an obstacle can appear out of nowhere and you want to be able to see it before you hit it.
Mounting Bracket: We all know how much we put our bikes though from light single trails and dirt roads to heavy jumps and quick down hill sections, the amount of vibration that happens is huge and you want mount that is not going to let you down. The mountain bike lights below all offer a stronger than average mount. From duel brackets to a single heavy duty bracket you can be confident to hit the tracks as hards as you like with any of these mountain bike lights, trail bike lights.
Battery Life: Getting that extended run time can be the difference from have a great time to riding in the dark trying to get yourself back to your car. With a lot of these lights have a larger than average battery pack to get those extended run times.
